Missions Team

The Missions Team of Christian Life College is made up of students who all have one common burden, and that is to see the lost saved through the shed blood and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A further purpose is to show the love of Christ to all through various humanitarian efforts. The Missions Team represents three distinct areas of ministry. They are: Home Missions, Multi-Cultural Ministries, and Foreign Missions. The team is actively involved in weekly evangelism in the greater Stockton area for Christian Life Center, as well as attending local Multi-Cultural Melas and other religious worship centers in the area. With the first semester behind us, the Missions Team is in full swing and will be assisting at numerous Multi-Cultural conferences in the Bay area such as the Ethiopian, Spanish, and Middle Eastern Conferences. Next month, fifteen members of our student body will be heading to Tampico, Mexico, where they will spend eight days ministering, evangelizing, and teaching the Word of God. Likewise, in the area of Home Missions, the Missions Team is planning on going to Los Angeles for a couple days in April to assist at a Home Missions church with evangelism and various outreach and humanitarianworks. The Missions Teams are zealous to makean impactlocally, as well as internationally, for the cause of Christ.

Life changers. Faith builders. Hope bearers.

The purpose of going on mission trips is to change lives, to build faith, and to bring hope to the people. That purpose was accomplished on the trips to Monterrey, Mexico, and San Salvador, El Salvador, in Feb. 2008.

The El Salvador team painted the UPCI medical clinic and Bible college, went out with the mobile medical clinic, and climbed up a mountain for two and a half hours to minister in church.

The Mexico team hosted several park services and had church under a busy highway bridge. They even held a church service at a circus!
Both teams were in church nearly every night. Several people were baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Many sick people received healing.

These teams worked hard to bring the gospel to lost souls and to minister to the body of Christ. A huge thank-you goes to Christian Life Center for giving the opportunity to be part of the mission trips this year. Because of the saints’ sacrificial giving, a great impact on eternity was made. Thank you!!
