Financial Aid
Financial assistance for attendance at Christian Life College is available from several sources. Some students have been successful in obtaining financial aid from corporations, churches, and various government and charitable organizations. A few of the more common forms of financial aid are listed below. Part-time, on-campus employment is also available on a limited basis to assist some students.
All financial aid will be applied as a tuition credit. The down payment will be reduced only if the total tuition credit exceeds the remaining balance. For assistance in applying for scholarships and discounts contact the college financial officer, William Riddell, at 209-476-7840 or EMail.
Sheaves for Christ Scholarships: The International Youth Division of the United Pentecostal Church International, Inc. offers a limited number of tuition scholarships for students attending endorsed Bible colleges. Application should be made directly to the General Youth Division, 8855 Dunn Rd., Hazelwood, Missouri, 63042 (Phone: 314-837-7300).
Division of Education Scholarships and Loans: Each year, the Division of Education of the United Pentecostal Church International, Inc. grants a number of scholarships and loans to students attending endorsed colleges. Married Students’ Spousal Discount: The spouse of a full-time student will receive a 50% discount on tuition for each semester that the married student maintains a course load of at least 12 semester units of credit. (Discount applied only toward tuition. This does not include any other fees or music lessons.) The spousal discount will be applied to the spouse enrolled for the smallest number of credits. This discount may not be combined with any other financial aid.
Missionary Scholarships: Full-time students who are children of active UPCI missionaries will receive a scholarship covering their full tuition. Children of retired or former UPCI missionaries, or missionaries of other organizations are also invited to apply for full or partial scholarships, as funding allows. Applicants should apply to Rev. The following scholarships are for new students:
Valedictorian or Salutatorian Discounts: High school valedictorians or salutatorians are invited to apply for a $250.00 tuition discount. The recipients of these discounts must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.75 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent. This discount may not be combined with any other financial aid. Kenneth Haney Leadership Scholarship: This scholarship is designed to award new students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership. It is named for the former President of Christian Life College who is now the General Superintendent of the UPCI. His leadership and vision serve as a source of inspiration. Daniel Segraves Chair of Theology Scholarship: New students with an interest in the ministry of preaching and teaching and planning to major in Bible and Theology may apply for this scholarship. Exceptional academic accomplishment by the applicant is vital for consideration of this award. Olive Haney Scholarship: Named after the founder’s wife, this scholarship seeks to honor new female applicants who have demonstrated excellence in Christian service. Involvement in women’s ministry projects or outstanding service and leadership among your peers is valued. The following scholarships are for returning students:
“DreamMakers” Scholarships: These scholarships are administered for the purpose of providing student financial assistance for the promotion of world missions. Priority is given to international students and those students preparing for ministry on a foreign field. Applicants should apply to Rev. Media Scholarships: Two full scholarships are awarded each year to full-time students who are interested in developing their skills in media technology. Financing Options
There are several options for financing your Christian Life College education. When necessary, Christian Life College is approved to participate with private lenders to help students and their families bridge the gap between the cost of education and the amount covered by other financial support (e.g., employment, family contributions, GI Montgomery Bill, etc.).
