Biography
Jarrid Younkin joined the faculty of Christian Life College in July of 2007. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible/Theology from Indiana Bible College, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2001. That same year he returned to his home church in Marion, Illinois to serve as children’s pastor and then youth pastor. In November 2001 he married the lovely Kendra Jordan. Jarrid felt led to continue his educational pursuits and he attended Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois, majoring in Religion. After completing a year at Greenville College he was accepted at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. Younkin graduated from AGTS in May of 2005 with a Master of Divinity. While pursuing education he remained active in ministry serving as assistant to the pastor and youth pastor in Greenville, Illinois, and as an evangelist during seminary. The Younkins moved to Austin, Texas in 2006 to plant a daughter church with the support of New Life United Pentecostal Church and Pastor David Bernard. While working in this field of labor God directed them to accept a position at Christian Life College. Rev. Younkin’s research interests include biblical preaching and Pentecostal studies. The Younkins have one daughter, Eliana.
