Biography
After earning a diploma in Bible and Theology from Western Apostolic Bible College in 1967, Rev. Daniel Segraves was ordained by the UPCI and became the Director of Promotions and Publications for the General Sunday School Division in 1968. The following year he also became the Junior High Editor for Word Aflame Publications. He served as Minister of Christian Education for the First Pentecostal Church in St. Louis, Missouri from 1971 through 1974. He then accepted the pastorate of the First Pentecostal Church of Dupo, Illinois, where he remained until 1982. During his pastorate, he completed the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Gateway College of Evangelism (1981). After being recruited for the faculty of Christian Life College in 1982, Daniel earned the Doctor of Education degree from California Coast University in 1992, the Master of Arts degree in Exegetical Theology (with highest honors) from Western Seminary in 1993, and the Master of Theology degree (with honors) from Western Seminary in 2003. He is currently completing the requirements for the Ph.D. in Renewal Studies with a Concentration in Biblical Theology at Regent University. Dr. Segraves is the author of numerous Christian books and commentaries and has won several writing awards. He is a popular speaker at numerous seminars and conferences both in the United States and abroad. He is married to author Judy Segraves. Following a long time dream, Dr. Segraves resigned as President of Christian Life College in 2007 to devote himself to study, research and writing to defend Apostolic truths. He continues to serve CLC as Professor Emeritus and as an adjunct faculty member. The Segraves now reside in St. Louis, Missouri, where he is also an adjunct professor at the Urshan Graduate School of Theology.
