Christian Media and Communication

Christian Life College believes in training young people to reach the world in today's generation. Media and technology play an important role in today's communication. As a college, we have been involved in media ministry and the application of technology since our early roots as Western Apostolic Bible College. We believe that the study of technology and communication is important for today's leaders. We offer a wide range of media and communication courses that will help prepare you for ministry, whether or not you feel a calling to media ministry.

What Will I Study?

Media classes are distinctively Pentecostal in doctrine and practice. Christian Life College's objective for Media & Communication is to equip students to serve in a wide range ministries, including videography, graphics, radio, web, church presentation, and audio mixing and recording. With over one million dollars in state-of-the-art equipment, CLC provides not only the most current tools, but an environment to excel with those tools. Our students produced and edited the Tommy Brown Gospel Bass-Training DVD that was recently reviewed in a major music magazine. We also produce the weekly program, Cause of the Cross, which is web-cast over the world at OnePlace.com and Lightsource.com.

Courses Offered

In addition to the core Theology and General Education classes, students will study in-depth in media and communicaiton courses:

Introduction to Communication - Study of how we effectively communicate
Media Internship - Practical training in a wide range of areas, including videography
Christian Film Production - Production of documentaries (ie: Foreign Missions, Holy Land), church promotions, and sermon video illustrations
Cross-cultural Communication - A study of communication across cultures
Beyond Media - Mass communication study
Journalism - Print media, newsletters, and photography
Presentation Skills - Advance study of Adobe Premiere and Apple Final Cut Studio
